What a Month End Reconciliation upload includes
A Month End Reconciliation upload takes only the data needed for the reconciliation: your Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable ledgers. It does not include your General Ledger or Trial Balance.
This is what an upload includes by default, so if you see Include General Ledger and Trial Balance, you can leave it unticked.
Please note
You can also complete a Month End Reconciliation from an upload that includes the General Ledger and Trial Balance. To see what that adds, read Including the General Ledger and Trial Balance.
Where you choose this
You choose what to include when you start an upload, on the Which accounting package do you use? step. Your upload includes Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable by default. To also include the General Ledger and Trial Balance, select Include General Ledger and Trial Balance before you select Next.
Depending on how your engagement is set up, your upload may include the General Ledger and Trial Balance automatically. In that case you will not see the checkbox.
For the full steps, see Step 2 of Starting an upload with Barclays Connect, or Step 2 of the guide for your cloud accounting package.
After your upload
When the upload status shows Upload Completed, select New Reconciliation at the top of the Dashboard to start your reconciliation.
New Reconciliation only appears once at least one upload has completed, and only if reconciliation is switched on for your engagement.
