Barclays LedgerShare Connect Microsoft .NET Framework and Windows Requirements

DataShare Connect (vClient) requires that the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 or above is installed on your machine. 

Please find the table below showing which versions of Windows .NET Framework 4.8 is compatible with DataShare Connect:

No .Net Framework preinstalled. A popup will be displayed to install a recent version of .Net Framework 

Windows 7 No SP/SP1


No .Net Framework preinstalled. A popup will be displayed to install a recent version of .Net Framework 

Windows 8


.NET Framework 4.5 preinstalled. No popup to install a recent version of .Net Framework will be displayed.

Windows 8.1


.NET Framework 4.5.1 preinstalled. No popup to install a recent version of .Net Framework will be displayed.

Windows 10 

.NET Framework 4.8 preinstalled. No popup to install a recent version of .Net Framework will be displayed.

If you do not have sufficient privileges you will need to contact your IT Department who will be able to install the updated Microsoft .NET Framework.
